Discover the New Look of WEEE · PARK’s Education Centre
ALBA IWS has unveiled a refreshed guided tour experience at WEEE · PARK, Hong Kong’s most advanced facility for recycling Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). The newly redesigned Education Centre featuring vibrant visuals, interactive games, and hands-on exhibits that highlight the importance of proper WEEE disposal and material recovery.
Since opening in 2017, the centre has welcomed over 30,000 visitors. The upgraded tour begins with WEEE · PARK’s history and milestones, followed by a visit to the Refurbishment Workshop, where guests can understand the donation service in action and observe the repair process for refurbishable appliances.
Then, head to the Unloading Bay to learn about the importance of electronic waste recycling through on-site demonstrations of upcycled products, along with a carbon emissions calculator, and to find out our process of handling WEEE.
In the Buffer Storage area, various appliances are displayed in the awaiting zone, allowing visitors to understand the handling process before they are sent for recycling. The journey concludes at the Dashboard Area, which provides an exhibition space for secondary raw materials, recycling data, and photo opportunities.
By combining education, innovation, and sustainability, WEEE · PARK aims to inspire greater awareness of responsible WEEE management and a greener future for all.
