“ALBA IWS’ Eco Impact: E-waste and Carbon Reduction” Event on 22 March

On 22 March, ALBA IWS hosted Eco Impact: E-waste and Carbon Reduction” event at WEEE ·  PARK, welcoming representatives and members from different organizations. Through guided tours, participants gained firsthand insight into the e-waste recycling process and explored how communities can connect with sustainable development.

Six booths were set up, featuring information on regulated e-waste, showcases of refurbished electrical appliances, and sustainability messages shared by various organizations. Some exhibits also highlighted upcycling initiatives, demonstrating how creativity extends the lifespan of products and reduces resource wastage.

Four hands-on workshops were held, including eco deodorizer workshop, refurbish appliances workshop, mini electric truck workshop and carbon reduction workshop. Participants of all ages actively engaged in the activities. Elderly visitors observed the material sorting process for the first time, while younger participants enjoyed the hands-on fun of DIY upcycling.
