We recently had an engaging “Culture Values and Mindsets” workshop on 13th August that brought together over 50 colleagues for a 4-hour interactive learning session.

 

The workshop was facilitated by Daniel O’Conner, our Chief People Officer, and Charlene Lee, our Talent & Organizational Development Manager. It was further enriched by insights from our General Manager, Donald Lim, who shared his personal experiences and journey at ALBA IWS.

 

The workshop focused on our three core values:

1. “We are all in as one team”
2. “We get better every day”
3. “We stay humble”

 

It was not the usual sit-and-listen workshop. The session included activities like team building and intellectual games, and personal sharing, making it an interactive and enjoyable afternoon. Through these exercises, we not only learned about our company’s culture but also gained insights into how we can embody these values in our daily work lives.

 

Overall, it was a fun and enlightening afternoon that reinforced the importance of our core values and how they shape our collective mindset. We look forward to applying these learnings as we work together as a cohesive team, striving for continuous improvement while maintaining humility in everything we do.
