We are excited to revisit our experience at ReThink HK 2024, the sustainable business forum and solutions expo held in Hong Kong in September. ReThinkHK emerged as a pivotal gathering of over 250 organizations, including industry experts, corporations, and social enterprises, united in pursuit of a greener, more inclusive future.

Our ALBA Hong Kong team proudly showcased cutting-edge e-waste management solutions, coinciding with a significant milestone — the release of our inaugural sustainability report. This report embodies our dedication to professional, safe, and innovative waste management solutions, promoting sustainability, circularity, and environmental stewardship.

In preparation for the Producer Responsibility Scheme for Plastic Beverage Containers and Beverage Cartons in Hong Kong, we showcased our new reverse vending machine (RVM) collecting beverage cartons, in addition to our earlier introduction of 120 RVMs in Hong Kong for collecting plastic beverage containers — integrating sustainability efforts into a unified operation. This innovation highlights the fusion of convenience and impact in sustainable practices.

Throughout the two-day event, we had the opportunity to engage with clients, partners, colleagues from Asia, and friends of the recycling community. Let’s collectively embrace change and propel towards a world without waste — a future where sustainability transcends choice to become an essential imperative.
